Simple Ingredients, Chosen with Care
Every ingredient in Mind Your Own Beeswax has a purpose. The formula has been refined through years of making and using the balm, with each ingredient chosen for the part it plays in the finished product.
BEESWAX
Produced naturally by bees, beeswax acts as an emollient, helping to soften and smooth the skin. It also forms a gentle protective barrier that helps the skin retain moisture.
COCONUT OIL
Naturally moisturizing, coconut oil helps soften and condition dry skin while supporting the skin’s natural moisture barrier. Its smooth, lightweight feel also contributes to the balm’s nourishing texture.
SHEA BUTTER
Rich and deeply moisturizing, shea butter helps soften and condition dry, rough skin. Naturally rich in fatty acids, it helps support the skin’s moisture barrier, leaving hardworking hands feeling smoother, softer, and well cared for.
VITAMIN E OIL
A natural antioxidant that helps protect the oils in the balm from oxidation while also conditioning the skin. Vitamin E contributes to the balm’s smooth, nourishing feel and helps keep the carefully chosen oils at their best.
ESSENTIAL OIL BLEND
Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey add a warm comforting aroma with delicate notes of hawthorn, oak, fresh cream, French vanilla, and sweet almond. The scent is intentionally light and subtle, adding a gentle finishing touch without competing with your favorite perfume or cologne.
CANOLA OIL
Rich in essential fatty acids, canola oil gives Mind Your Own Beeswax its smooth, easily spreadable texture and helps condition the skin without feeling overly heavy. After experimenting with other ingredients, canola oil remains the choice because it gives the balm the texture, consistency and performance intended.

The story really began with a gift from my brother, Buzz—a hobby beehive that sparked a journey I never imagined. Later, a dear friend and spiritual mentor—whose husband kept bees—showed me how beeswax from the honey harvest could be transformed into a beautiful nurturing hand balm. What began as a simple kitchen experiment soon became something friends, neighbors, and local shops wanted to share.
